Awards
At OLP we daily celebrate the special gifts of each of our students. At the end of the school year the teachers recognize the gifts of each student and give awards that highlight the values that make our students shine. Every child is a gift from God: each student receives his or her own award. In particular, each classroom teacher choses the recipients of the 5 school awards.
Living the Beatitudes
A student who lives the Beatitudes is someone who shows a strong presence of God in his or her life. He or she works to serve others, following Jesus' example.
Service
A student who achieves the service award has a selfless and generous attitude. He or she is concerned with helping others without expecting anything in return.
Overall Academic Achievement
A student who achieves the overall academic award has accomplished important goals in major subject area. He or she strives for excellence throughout the year.
Leadership
A student who receives the leadership award is always ready to enthusiastically work with others on a common goal, leading by example without being bossy or overbearing.
Tiger Spirit
A student who receives the Tiger Spirit award likes to have fun and participates in all the possibilities OLP offers.
