COSI-on-Wheels
It's the Center of Science and Industry at OLP !
Students, teachers and volunteers engage in meaningful science learning experiences that enable them to understand their world and inspire them to learn more about it.
The day begins with a high energy all school assembly, presented by a COSI demonstrator, which introduces the concepts that will be explored during the day. The assembly is followed by a number of hands-on activity sessions. During these sessions students informally interact with the activities, spending as little or as much time as they like at each of the 10 stations. Some students will try all of the activities while others will focus only on a few in more depth.
Volunteers are vital to the success of a COSI On Wheels experience. Only with the help of these special people can we provide our children with a fun and exciting learning experience. We thank all our volunteers.
Some of the topics explored in the past include:
| Super Structures | Science of Sports |
| What's Wild | It's Simply Chemistry |
| Launch Into Space | Agriculture Adventure |
