Welcome to the seventh grade classroom page of Mr. Roberts at Our Lady of Peace School. This is my ninth year here at OLP and it has been an awesome journey so far! I teach math to 6, 7 & 8th graders, religion, health and reading to 7th graders and science to the 6th graders. Excited for another school year and trying out a new environmental conservation camp.
I am originally from upstate New York (Cohoes), near Albany and moved to Reynoldsburg back in August 2003. Happily married almost 28 years to my wonderful wife Kathy, with 4 children, 19, 20, 27, and 34. Moving to Columbus was a blessing because it is sports-oriented and the weather is much better, with very little snow!
I earned my BA in Mathematics from the University at Albany, NY and my Master’s in Sports Science at Ashland University, Ohio. Always dreamed of being a coach and a teacher, so I am now living my dream!

The seventh graders will be going to the Holy Family Soup Kitchen on the last Thursday of each month beginning in September.  This is a wonderful opportunity to really start understanding what "service," and "humility" are! The DARE program with Deputy Boyd will probably begin in January and culminate with a graduation ceremony in March or April. 

Don't forget  Pi Day (3/14) for the seventh and eighth graders. Students will make "Pi Guy Hats" and bring in cool information on Pi.  Parents are encouraged to send in regular pies in for each class that day so that we can enjoy the festivities!

Hope all my colleagues and students have a blessed school year.. You are all wonderful people to work with every day! Keep up the good work, and remember, "God doesn't make no junk!"
