Welcome to Kindergarten! I’m so excited to begin the year with all of you!
First, a background of who I am. My name is Mrs. DeStephen and I have been teaching since 2007. I have been at Our Lady of Peace since 2010. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Third grade. Kindergarten is by far the best!
Kindergarten is great because this is the year where you not only learn how to be a student, but you make new friends, go on field trips, and read! In this classroom, it’s not only important that you know how to add and subtract, but that you have good manners and are kind to everyone that you see and talk with.
