What is the Pizza Sale?
For almost 50 years, the Pizza Sale has been one of Home and School Association’s largest fundraisers and supports the cost of all of your children's field trips, as well as many extracurricular activities, educational necessities, building upgrades, and curriculum enrichment programs that tuition alone does not cover.
And Subs Too!
In an effort to consolidate fundraisers, this year’s Pizza Sale will feature 8th Grade Subs as a menu item. These subs will be made by the 8th grade and sold/distributed with the pizzas and other menu items. In recognition of the 8th graders’ work preparing subs this year, a portion of the pizza sale proceeds will support their class trip.
How to Support the Pizza Sale
Be part of OLP’s most famous tradition: Buy and sell pizzas, subs, spice mixes, and coupons - and volunteer! On Thursday November 13th, the school cafeteria will be transformed into a production area so that, on Friday November 14th, we can make thousands of OLP “take-and-bake” pizzas - all in one day! We make a variety of pizzas. We mix the spices, cut the vegetables, make & package pizzas, and prepare the products for delivery by you. It’s a fun way to meet others in our school community. Sign up to volunteer at the link below:

Here’s how this sale works:
Each student at OLP will have their own unique shopping cart link through fundraiseit.org. All orders and payment will go through this link. Students can share this link with family, friends, and neighbors. New this year: A paper flyer will be sent home with your student this week. The paper flyer includes a shopping link QR code for easier door-to-door selling. Your child’s unique QR code is located in the bottom right corner of the take-home version of the flyer.  A generic pdf version of the flyer is included in the attached packet.
Pizza Sale Day is Friday, November 14, 2024. Thousands of pizzas will be made and all orders will be assembled. Then, student families will pick up all of their orders on that day. Student families are responsible for connecting their customers with their orders. An email reminder with a summary of orders placed and details on each order placed with your student’s link will be sent to parent emails the week of November 10.
Prizes for Selling
In addition to benefiting the school, your children also earn prizes based on the number of orders received (please see the Pizza Sale Prize List in the attached pdf packet). Customers who simply want to donate money to the school can order a “Pizza-less” Pizza. Students get credit for one prize item for every $5 that is donated! (Note that amounts not in increments of $5 count as partial items - e.g., a $15 donation is 3 prize items, $17 is considered 3.4 items).
Student shopping cart links:
Your student’s unique link will be emailed to family email addresses on Wednesday, October 8. If you do not receive the email or can’t find it at any point during the sale, please reach out to us at olppizza1946@gmail.com and we can send the link to you.
Faculty/Staff/Parishioner orders:
If you have a student at OLP or want to support a particular student, please use that student’s unique link. Otherwise, please use this link below.
Faculty/Staff/Parish Member's unique shopping link:
https://app.fundraiseit.org/shop.php?code=2D4228
Ideas on how to sell:
Share your student’s shopping link with friends and family via email and social media. Customers place and pay for their orders online. Easy peasy!
Share a cute video or picture of your student on social media. Your student could talk about how great our pizzas are, how much they’d like to get a prize for selling a lot of pizzas, how much they like pizza, how much they appreciate people supporting our school, or something else delightful and related to pizza.
Sell in Person: Encourage your kids to take the paper flyer and QR code door-to-door in the neighborhood. Parents can help too by sharing the sales link with coworkers and friends.
There is a packet under "documents" on this website that includes a worksheet you can use to keep track of sales if you like to write things down. You can also check sales placed under your student’s link anytime at https://www.fundraiseit.org/ You will need your student’s Web Sale Code which is the numbers and one letter at the end of your student’s shopping link (for example, the Web Sale Code for the Faculty/Staff/Parish Member’s link above is 2D4228).
Ideas on managing payments:
Customers who place orders through your student’s link will enter their contact information and pay for their order upfront on the website.
Have someone who just wants to tell you their order? You can take their order, enter and pay for the order yourself using your student’s link, and arrange a way for your customer to pay you. If you enter an order for someone else, please enter that customer’s information (name, address, phone) when placing the order so you can easily identify that order on Pizza Day.
If you have a question or have customers who do not want to place an online order and paying for orders upfront yourself is a barrier, please send us an email at olppizza1946@gmail.com
When & how to pick up your orders:
Pizza Day is Friday, November 14. For orders placed through a student’s link, the student’s family is responsible for picking up the order on Pizza Day between 2-4 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
When you arrive at the cafeteria, please go to the check in desk first. A volunteer will give you any non-pizza/sub items you may have (spice, gift cards) and will direct you to where your orders are. It is the family’s responsibility to get their orders to their customers. We will put all orders placed under your student’s link together and separated by individual order.
For faculty or parishioner orders, if the order was placed through a student’s link then the student’s family is responsible for picking up the order and delivering it. If the order was placed through the general faculty/parishioner link, then the customer should pick up their own order on Pizza Day between 2-4 p.m.
Have questions? Please contact us at olppizzasale1946@gmail.com We’re happy to help.
Thank you OLP community for your generous support of the Pizza Sale this year and every year!
