In order to improve testing fidelity and create a more standardized environment, we are going to have OLP students take their STAR assessments at the same time. We know these tests are one data point out of many to report on how your child is performing in school. However, we want students to take these tests seriously so we can determine how to better support them and improve instruction.
Monday, April 13 - 7th and 8th grades take STAR Reading
Tuesday, April 14th - 9:00 AM -grades K-6 take STAR Reading
Wednesday, April 22nd - 9:00 AM - all students take STAR Math
Please try to ensure that your child gets a good night's sleep the night before and has a good breakfast. Please also try to avoid taking students out of school during this time for appointments.
